Local Governments Issue Bike Month Proclamations
Although the official recognition of March as Bicycle Month has been interrupted and many organized group bike rides and events have been recently canceled, the local weather is perfect for individual or family rides!
Local governments that have issued Bike Month proclamations include Palm Beach County, the City of Boca Raton, the City of Greenacres, the Town of Jupiter, the City of Palm Beach Gardens and the Village of Wellington.

TPA Hosted Placemaking Training
March 11-12: The TPA hosted a training on Placemaking with Form-Based Codes. The 2-day course provided an in-depth understanding of how to guide good urban form through a regulatory framework. The course was sponsored by the Abacoa Partnership for Community Inc., CNU Florida, and the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, in partnership with the Florida Atlantic University Center for Urban & Environmental Solutions.

FDOT will conduct a Public Industry Forum regarding the dynamic envelope initiative at state-owned railroad crossings in Palm Beach, Broward, St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River counties. FDOT representatives will be available to answer questions about the three upcoming push-button maintenance contracts to be let this fiscal year.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend all meetings of these Boards and committees, as well as ad hoc committee meetings or workshops publicly noticed on PalmBeachTPA.org. They will be given opportunities to ask questions or make comments on any agenda item, or to offer general comments that are relevant to the mission and responsibilities of the TPA.
