Boynton Beach Adopts a Complete Streets Policy

Congratulations to the City of Boynton Beach for adopting a Complete Streets Policy on June 16. Similar stand alone policies have been adopted by the City of Delray Beach and the Palm Beach TPA. Both the City of West Palm Beach and the Town of Jupiter have adopted Complete Streets policies within the Transportation Element of their Comprehensive Plans. The TPA continues to encourage other local municipalities to adopt similar policies and has created a Model Complete Streets Policy and Policy Development Guidance that can be tailored to fit each municipality. More information regarding Complete Streets policies can be found on the National Complete Streets Coalition's website. To add your local Complete Streets Policy to the National Complete Streets Policy Inventory, email a copy to: info@completestreets.org.
