List of Priority Projects for Public Review and Comment
The Palm Beach TPA annually must adopt a list of transportation system priority projects and transmit the list to the Florida Dept. of Transportation. The FDOT uses the list to develop their next draft Five-Year Work Program, which is incorporated into the TPA's Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the following year.
Review the TPA's draft Priority Projects List for Fiscal Years 2020-2024 and provide public comments at PalmBeachTPA.org/priorities. A final list will be adopted by the TPA Governing Board at their meeting on Sep. 20, 2018. Review meeting details at the priorities web page or below.

Veterans Give Feedback on Transportation Needs and Preferences
The West Palm Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center provides health services to veterans in a seven-county region of south Florida and the Treasure Coast at its main facility and six contractor-operated community-based outpatient clinics including locations in Boca Raton and Delray Beach. More than 2,700 staff members served more than 60,000 veterans last year.
On Aug. 27, a Palm Beach TPA outreach team visited the medical center to conduct transportation surveys among a sampling of veterans and staff members. Surveys are being completed online and supplemented with a variety of outreach events to ensure the inclusion of responses from diverse populations and those less likely to participate in an email survey.

ADA Transition Plan Trainings
The Palm Beach TPA is required by federal agencies to sign assurances that all recipients of federal funds allocated by the TPA have ADA transition plans in place. ADA transition plans outline a jurisdiction's assessment and plans for bringing their infrastructure into compliance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Click here for additional information on requirements.
The Palm Beach TPA will host a half-day workshop on Oct. 11, with training by Dean Perkins, Florida Dept. of Transportation's ADA Coordinator. For details or to reserve a seat, contact Malissa Booth at MBooth@PalmBeachTPA.org or 561-694-4143.
The Broward MPO will conduct a similar ADA transition planning workshop on Sep. 5. Click here for flyer.
