Citizens Advisory Committee Spotlight

Terry Brown
Member Since 2006

Terry Brown - Committee Member Spotlight

What excites you about transportation?

The opportunity to develop my interests in emphasizing public transit services so that we don't always have the public thinking that every solution to overdevelopment is roads, highways, and single-use vehicles.

Why do you like serving on the committee?

It keeps me informed about the big picture of local and regional plans. I find it rewarding to share this information with other citizens and residents, as well as to support positive changes to transportation plans.

What do you hope to change about transportation in Palm Beach County?

I hope to help the deciders of policy to focus on and shape more realistic long-range support for all types of public transit, using the new tech improvements available, in combination with common sense decisions, to impact all of us far into the future.
