TPA Governing Board Meeting Recap
The TPA Governing Board met last week and took action on two items.
- Renewal of zero fatalities for 2021 Safety Targets: The Board unanimously approved a motion to adopt a resolution that approved 2021 Safety Targets. This resolution confirms the TPA's commitment to Vision Zero and a goal of zero fatalities for 2021 Safety Targets. You can view this presentation here.

The Palm Beach TPA Welcomes New Staff Member
TPA Procurement & Grants Coordinator
Alaura joined the TPA in 2021 and is a local West Palm Beach native. She provides professional experience in several areas of accounting and finance. Her skills include governmental, corporate, and private accounting. Alaura currently studies at Palm Beach State College in pursuit of a bachelor's degree.
Florida Bicycle Month
March is Florida Bicycle Month! The TPA encourages local governments and partner agencies to participate and host events promoting bicycling and bicycle safety, in addition to adopting a Florida Bicycle Month Proclamation. For more information, visit WalkBikePalmBeach.org.

TPA Governing Board and advisory committee meetings are currently being held as a combination of in-person meetings at the TPA office and virtual meetings on the Zoom webinar platform. To accommodate social distancing, there will be limited space for in-person attendees. Please review the guidance at the top of each meeting agenda.
2021 America Walks Walking College Accepting Applications
America Walks is now accepting applications for the Walking College Class of 2021. This leadership program offers fellows the opportunity to grow their skills and knowledge around creating vibrant, safe, accessible communities for all people and to apply these principles to a specific challenge in their community. OutRide Fund Grant Application Is Open
Winter 2021 applications for OutRide Fund grants are due March 11, 2021. The OutRide Fund offers matching grants up to $15,000 to support projects related to youth cycling. Learn more at OutrideBike.org/Outride-Fund
Nominations for Excellence in Transportation Planning

Transportation Awareness Day 2021

AARP Community Challenge Grant

2021 National Roadway Safety Awards
The Roadway Safety Foundation and Federal Highway Administration are now accepting applications for the 2021 National Roadway Safety Awards to recognize successful roadway safety solutions that contribute to the goal of zero deaths and serious injuries on our nation’s roadways. Safety Funding Available for Law Enforcement
