State Road Modifications Application

Welcome to the Palm Beach Transportation Planning Agency's 2022 State Road Modifications Funding Program. This page allows you to submit all required documentation for a project application. Once you have filled out the fields and uploaded the documents, your application submittal is complete. If there are any issues with the application submittal, TPA staff will follow up with the applicant.

Format = Year.Applicant Name.Application Priority (e.g., 2020.Jupiter.1)

(e.g., plats, deeds, prescriptions, certified surveys, and/or easements)

This could include a letter or communication clearly indicating that FDOT concurs with the proposed improvements.

  • Must be prepared and signed by a Professional Engineer from the Agency's Engineering Office.
  • Must use the FDOT Administered Cost Estimate form.
  • Please include a photograph of existing conditions that can be used in a "Before" and "After" presentation of the benefits associated with this project. Choose a location where the proposed improvements will have the greatest visible impact to convey maximum value.
  • Provide a resolution stating support for the project as proposed from the governing board of the local municipality where the project is located. 
  • This resolution is needed if the project passes through a local jurisdiction that is not the right-of-way owner.
  • The resolution must include language stating that it is the responsibility of local government to maintain or coordinate the maintenance of any improvements outside of FDOT’s maintenance responsibilities.
  • The resolution should clearly state the project name, limits of project, and type of improvements to be made.
